Adults
I offer one-to-one therapy for adults, using an integrative approach that’s flexible and tailored to each person. I am able to draw from a range of therapeutic models depending on what feels most helpful to you and the issues you’re bringing to therapy.
Many of the people I work with are living with the impact of trauma, anxiety, and experiences of neurodiversity. You might be living with the effects of past events, dealing with constant worry or overwhelm, or trying to understand yourself better in a world that can feel challenging to navigate.
Keeping our therapeutic relationship central to the process is paramount to me as a therapist. From my own lived experiences, I recognise the huge importance of building trust, safety, and connection with your therapist. My aim is to offer a space where you feel safe to explore what’s going on and where we can work together at a pace that feels manageable for you.
I draw on different approaches so that therapy is flexible and suited to your needs. With person centred theory at the core of my practice, I may also draw on psychodynamic ideas to help make sense of how past experiences might still be affecting you. At times I might introduce tools from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) if required to manage things like anxiety, low mood, or unhelpful thinking patterns.
Sessions are available face-to-face in Wallasey or Bromborough. For those who prefer or require more flexible access, I also offer online therapy sessions via secure video platforms, making therapy accessible from the comfort of your own space.
If you’d like to talk more about how we might work together, feel free to get in touch.
